In the development process of telecom products the execution
of measurements on prototypes is an important part of the work.
The goal of measurements is to verify the design of a product,
prove compliance to the standard and to monitor the manufacturing
processes and component quality.
For products that are manufactured
in high volumes this means that during development the quantities of
products that need to be measured are high. Data has to be gathered
from a reasonable amount of products, built with components from
